4A short boat trip from the east coast of Mauritius, the only course on its own island is accessible to players of all levels. This 6,452m Bernhard Langer signature championship course with four different sets of tees covers 38 hectares with holes snaking up and down the length of the island.
The Legend course is laid out in the heart of an indigenous forest along a beautiful beach while the Links has many features of a traditional links course, particularly elevated greens.
Set on the east coast of the island, Legend (6,018m, par 72) and Links (5,942m, par 71) were designed by the golf course architects, Rodney Wright and Peter Allis and built according to USPGA specifications.
The 18 hole course, by Peter Matkovich, features unique Mauritian landscaping and the distinct feature is the black volcanic rock “outcrops”. The rocks and rolling grasslands provide the backbone of the landscaping.
