The visit to Ile aux Aigrettes, situated at a short distance from the south-eastern shores of Mauritius, highlights the work undertaken for decades to restore the original fauna and flora. Blanketed by tea plantations since the late 19th century, the Bois Chéri region reflects the island’s long tea tradition. Visitors will be introduced to the different stages of production before enjoying a tasting session. Situated in the Savanne region, Saint Aubin is a colonial mansion with a vanilla house, flower greenhouse and spice garden. The plunging cliffs and crashing waves in the surroundings of Gris Gris also make for an awe-inspiring sight.
