The northern islets of Mauritius offer some amazing views and are very important for their biodiversity, especially seabirds. Some interesting features are the lighthouse standing on Flat Island, the rocky cliff of Gunners Quoin which provides nesting for the famous red-tailed tropicbird, the uninhabited nature reserve of Round Island and the beautiful unspoiled beaches of Ilot Gabriel.
