Start this journey at the iconic Chamarel Coloured Earth, a natural phenomenon where rolling sand dunes display a surreal blend of reds, browns, violets, and ochres. Framed by emerald foliage, this palette of colours tells a geological story millions of years in the making. Just a short walk away, the Chamarel Waterfall cascades gracefully into the gorge below, offering a breathtaking moment of serenity and a perfect photo opportunity.

Next, awaken your senses at the Chamarel Coffee Plantation. This hidden gem offers a guided walk through the coffee fields and roasting house, where you’ll learn about the cultivation of Arabica beans, from plant to cup. Sip freshly brewed Chamarel coffee while soaking in panoramic views of the surrounding valley.

The day concludes at Rhumerie de Chamarel, one of the few distilleries in the world to produce rum directly from freshly harvested sugar cane. Witness the artisanal distillation process, and enjoy a curated tasting session of award-winning rums.
